With the record mixed and mastered, I wanted to back up and fill ya in about the new record. Just prior to landing here in TX, drummer Jesse Shultzaberger and I were able to get the groundwork laid for this record, and joining that rhythm section is Randy Ball on electric bass. I can’t even begin to express my gratitude in having these two cats on the record. The music heavily stems from my Country/Americana Roots/Hill Country Blues influences but also leans heavily into rock. Jesse and I have coined it Delta Rock. I’m super excited to get this record out and into y’all’s ears! Guest musicians include Lloyd Maines on pedal steel, Ian Stewart on fiddle, Dan DeVenter on fiddle, and the return of Brian Simms on accordion who also played on Queen Fareena.
